Happy Saturday Liverpool! We are embracing the win Happy Saturday Liverpool! We are embracing the wintery weekends here at Luca with some of our new and improved cosy dishes. Our Anglesea mussels diavola is going down a treat with our customers recently. We obviously recommend pairing it with a glass of wine from our hand picked wine list… 🍷🧣

The food was unreal.... read more The highlight was the pumpkin sage butter tortellini with a side of the hassleback potatoes *chefs kiss* Thank you for a wonderful evening and for the little extra; a birthday tiramisu! Been a few times before, and this was one of our fave visits, will be back again.

However, the plates sizes are a good size, they... read more recommend 2-3 dishes which I would say to have 3 if you want to be sure of the full experience. We also had the baked cheesecake for dessert which was unique and tastes amazing. We were served by a lovely waitress called Paula and the bartender was very helpful in selecting the right wine for us, which was appreciated greatly. The wait times were incredibly short, every dish we ordered came fast to the table. The value for money is really good, and felt so inexpensive that it was a steal! Overall I would say it is up there with some of the best restaurants in town and even some I've been in London!

But it was fine we were kept pretty entertained at the bar so it wasn't so noticeable. We all agreed the food was to the level expected, quality as always. If I could recommend this place more I would. And to suggest a single dish personally I would say the Fritto Misto sharer, it's massive! Can't wait to return!

    star rating  Like tapas in Espana! - Visited Luca for lunch on a recommendation...so glad we did. Lovely sunny day and we were able to sit outside and catch the late summer sunshine. We chose 4 small... read more plates...not so small! and all equally delicious. From start to finish our visit was great..Many thanks to the delightful Sam and Tanya...who made our visit extra special. We will return!

    star rating  Very Nice - Been a few times with the family Friendly service polite staff and the choice of food is good The lamb is excellent along with the other choices I... read more would say the food prices are about the same for other restaurants on Allerton Road But the wine/ drinks are a bit overpriced One thing we we’re not happy about was on the bottom of the bill was a 10% service charge This obviously was voluntary but if you don’t check your bill properly can be costly

Paul and the Luca's team were very kind to celebrate our anniversary they gave a lovely card and a treat.... read more We loved so much that we ended up having 6 plates and 1 pudding. Everything was excellent and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Please if you have a special occasion coming up make your way to Luca because is not only the food but the whole experience. Thank you Paul for your care and Peter for the selection of prosseco.

I have a wheat allergy, usually disappointed by the... read more menu, however this food was unbelievable. Even my partner enjoyed the gluten free goats cheese bruschetta. The cute waiter gave us some recommendations & the lovely waitress was also very polite and friendly. Will definitely be returning. Sorry didn’t get names. We visited Sunday 17th Sept. Thank you

    star rating  Fabulous tapas with that extra taste - Can’t fault the food here absolutely gorgeous.. the produce is so fresh and the chef has absolutely perfected each and every dish .. it is a little more expensive... read more than most tapas places but I’d say worth it..
    Downside is the restaurant itself is cramped
